In Vital Pursuit, players step into a heart-pounding race against time in a thrilling new puzzle game. You’ve already made the ultimate sacrifice by giving up your kidney, but now it’s a high-stakes game of wits and stealth to avoid the Yakuza and locate the mysterious Kidney Buyer so you can save your mother.
This project was part of a quarter-long class focused on creating a portfolio of game prototypes. Throughout the term, we worked as a team to develop multiple concepts, with one ultimately moving forward for further development. While this project was not selected to continue, the experience was incredibly valuable. Leading the team under high-pressure and fast-paced deadlines taught me a lot about managing short-term indie projects, and I gained hands-on experience that will help me in future game development work.
